A steep down-slope lot. The house steps down it in terraces instead of sitting on a cut pad, so every level arrives at its own piece of ground and its own view.

Stanley Residence

Los Angeles · 10,087 sq ft

Nearly an acre and a half of gated hillside. The house cantilevers above the slope, closed toward the street and open toward the downtown and ocean views, with a 73-foot pool working across three levels.
